Paraf privacy policy
Paraf collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet. Your documents and signatures stay on your device.
What stays on your device
- The PDFs you open in Paraf.
- The drawings, highlights and signatures you place on them.
- The signatures you save for later use.
All of this is kept in Paraf's private storage on your phone or tablet. We never receive it. If your device is backed up to iCloud, Google or a computer, this storage may be included in that backup, which is handled by Apple, Google and you, not by us.
When a document leaves the app
Only when you explicitly export or share it. You choose the destination through the system share sheet, the Files app or a folder on your device. Paraf has no server of its own to send it to.
Permissions
Paraf only gets access to a document when you hand it over, through the file picker, "Open in" or the share sheet. It does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photo library.
What Paraf does not do
- No network connections: no analytics, crash reporting SDKs, ads, advertising identifier or tracking.
- No account or sign-in, and no contact details collected.
- No data sold or shared, because no data is collected.
Deleting your data
Deleting a document or a signature in the app removes it from your device. Uninstalling Paraf removes everything it stored.
App Store and Google Play
You download Paraf from Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google process data about your purchase and download under their own privacy policies. If you have agreed in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, they may send us aggregated, anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. These do not identify you, and we only use them to fix problems in the app.
Children
Paraf collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data, and to object to its processing. Because Paraf does not send your data to us, we hold nothing about you from the app. If you write to us, we only use your email to reply and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Changes to this policy
If Paraf ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy at this address and change the date at the top before the new version of the app is released.
